The Opportunity 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our high-performing Finance team.

This role is pivotal in delivering accurate financial reporting, driving process improvements, and providing meaningful insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse consolidated monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow reports, including consolidation and elimination entries.
• Prepare board reporting with clear commentary and analysis.
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with business units across the Support Office to provide financial insights and guidance.
• Liaise with auditors, consultants, and external stakeholders on financial reporting matters.
• Support Half Year and Full Year reporting, as well as budgeting processes.
• Contribute to system implementations and upgrades, including user acceptance testing.
• Prepare technical accounting papers and update accounting policies as required.

About You 

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• CPA/CA Qualified 
• 3+ years' experience in a similar role 
• Intermediate excel skills
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Strong focus on process improvement
• Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
