Training and Development
When you join G8 Education, you will be enrolled in our 6-month Centre Manager First Steps induction program which is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to feel confident in your new role.
• You will spend up to 4 weeks with one of our specially selected and trained Certified Trainers as they train and guide you while you learn about the systems we use at G8, our policies and procedures. • After your time with our Certified Trainer, you are invited to our series of deep-dive workshops led by Subject Matter Experts • Ongoing support throughout your 6-month program is provided by our First Steps Support Team and your Area Manager.

The Center Manager First Steps program is an onboarding and induction program designed to equip new Centre Managers with the skills and knowledge needed to feel confident in their role, ensuring they are set up for success from their first day.
Centre Managers spend up to four weeks being trained and supported by a specially trained Certified Trainer.
This support continues throughout their first six months with regular check-in calls, deep-dive workshops and further training offered if required.

Yes, from time to time you will be required to open and close. We encourage our Centre Managers to be available to all of our families and recommend a flexible roster to ensure you can meet everyone.
This may depend on the size of the centre you lead.
As a Centre Manager your role will generally not be required to support in a room. However, you may, at times be required to support team coverage or breaks.
