About Us

Welcome to Great Beginnings Byford—where we’re all about making early learning fun, exciting, and convenient for local families in Byford, Darling Downs, Oakford, and Whitby! With long day care and a vibrant kindergarten program for kids aged 6 weeks to 6 years, we’ve got the perfect balance for busy families with our extended hours.

Our little learners thrive in awesome indoor and outdoor play areas, explore rooms filled with cutting-edge technology and educational resources, and enjoy a wide range of exciting activities.

We proudly cater to up to 98 children, with operating hours from 6:30am - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. It's where the fun never stops!

About You

You’re a passionate, ACECQA-approved Diploma-qualified Educator with:

• A deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Proven experience working with kids aged 0-5 years in an early childhood service.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) that make you a standout team player.
• A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate.
