We are looking for an experienced Cook to join the team at Buggles Atwell Childcare to produce high quality, nutritious meals and snacks for our children each day. 

This role is Part-Time working 35 hours per week working Mondays to Fridays from 7.30am to 2:30pm 

About Us

Our daycare and early learning centre is a convenient choice for local families in Atwell, Aubin Grove, Hammond Park and Success in Perth. Buggles Atwell offers long daycare and a kindergarten program for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, with extended hours to suit busy families.

Our carefully crafted menus are designed to nourish both body and mind, meeting nutritional guidelines while ensuring every meal is a delicious step towards helping little ones grow strong and healthy.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 102 children with operating hours from 6.30am to 6.30pm.

About You

• Experienced in Menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering & control
• Experienced in dietary and allergy safe requirements. 
• Experienced in ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with the relevant Food Safety regulations
• Be a Team Player with great communication and interpersonal skills
• Be available for set shift days and times Monday to Friday

Successful Applicants must hold

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification and experience in a cook role
• A current Working with Children’s Check 
• Completed or willing to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
