The Opportunity
As the Solutions Architect you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions that align with business objectives. This role involves evaluating business needs, selecting the right technologies, ensuring seamless system integration, and providing technical leadership across projects.
The Solutions Architect will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product teams, vendors and enterprise architects to ensure solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop end-to-end architectural solutions that align with business goals, technical requirements, and industry best practices
Define architectural blueprints, standards, and roadmaps to guide implementation
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and optimised for performance and cost
Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and platforms based on business needs
Design and oversee system integration strategies to ensure seamless interoperability across applications, databases, and third-party services
Ensure architectural solutions adhere to cloud, security, and data governance policies
Work closely with various functions and key stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs
Partner with vendors to ensure architectural integrity throughout solutions and services offered
Provide leadership on emerging technologies and architectural trends
Collaborate with the Head of Enterprise architecture to establish and enforce architectural principles, frameworks, and best practices
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams
Ensure solutions comply with regulatory, security, and operational risk standards
Advocate for best architectural practices across various domains such as information, application and infrastructure
About You
8+ years of experience in IT (with 3 in in architecture roles)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or Microsoft Certified. Azure Solutions Architect are preferred
Experience in large-scale enterprise environments is highly desirable
Strong ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to align technical solutions with business goals
Experience working cross-functionally with business and technical teams
Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
