The Opportunity
As the Talent Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that the operational service delivery of the Talent Specialist and Consultants is aligned to the strategic direction set by the Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM). The role is also required to undertake talent acquisition activities when needed and ensure a service excellence delivery by the Talent Acquisition team to the business in both permanent and casual talent acquisition.
You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders across our national network and drive initiatives that align recruitment efforts with our broader workforce strategy.
This is a role that demands strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a passion for improving processes and outcomes through innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing recruitment team, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration and continuous improvement
Manage talent pipelines and implement innovative sourcing strategies tailored to our centre support needs
Partner with internal stakeholders across Operations, Workforce Planning and Study Pathways to drive aligned recruitment solutions
Oversee digital campaigns and data-driven strategies to maximise reach, engagement and candidate quality
Support employer brand growth by championing our EVP and delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences
Utilise recruitment systems, data, and analytics to report on performance and guide decision-making
About You
You’re not just a recruiter — you're a strategic thinker, influencer, and culture builder. You thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and bring a proven track record of leading recruitment outcomes with measurable success.
You'll also bring:
5+ years of recruitment experience with a focus on leadership and stakeholder engagement
A history of driving successful, innovative recruitment initiatives
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
The ability to analyse and act on data to continuously improve team performance
Experience in the early childhood sector is a bonus, but not essential
Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
