The Opportunity
G8 Education is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead a high-performing team of two Area Managers, collectively responsible for 25 early childhood education centres across South Australia.
The first five years of a child’s life are the foundation for all future learning and development. In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll shape and execute the regional strategy that helps G8 achieve its vision of being families’ first choice in early childhood education and care.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver a clear regional strategy aligned with organisational goals
Lead, coach, and empower a team of two Area Managers
Drive operational and educational excellence across 25 centres
Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation
Partner collaboratively with internal departments and external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality requirements
Analyse and improve key performance metrics across the portfolio
Foster a positive, values-based culture focused on quality outcomes and engagement
About You
You’re an optimistic, values-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic, people-centred environment. You combine strategic thinking with genuine care, and you’re passionate about helping others reach their full potential.
Required Experience and Qualifications
5+ years’ experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams
Demonstrated success driving results in a multi-site environment
Strong financial acumen and experience managing complex budgets
Proven ability to optimise people and resources within regulated environments
Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
A solutions-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
Excellent communication and leadership capability
Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
Preferred
Experience in early childhood, education, healthcare, or other care-based sectors
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or a related discipline
Understanding of early childhood education frameworks and regulations
