The Opportunity 

We’re seeking an experienced Practice Partner Lead to lead and manage a state-based team of Practice Partners, driving the implementation of G8 Education’s Early Learning and Education strategy. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for uplifting educational practice across centres through data-informed approaches, coaching excellence, and strong stakeholder collaboration, ensuring consistent delivery of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard, and Assessment & Rating outcomes.

This role partners closely with centre leaders, regional teams, support office functions, and external stakeholders to embed inclusive, high-quality programs that improve outcomes for children, educators, and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a state-based team of Practice Partners, embedding a high-performance, values-driven culture through coaching, mentoring and performance development.
  • Drive the implementation of the Early Learning & Education strategy, delivering data-informed practice uplift across centres.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and Assessment & Rating processes.
  • Analyse educational and quality data to identify priorities, coordinate improvement initiatives, and monitor outcomes across the state.
  • Partner with Regional Managers, Area Managers and Centre Leaders to respond to incidents, professional learning needs and centre-based quality priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies and external stakeholders to support funded programs and education initiatives.
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of learning materials, training programs and professional development offerings.
  • Champion child safety, inclusion and wellbeing, ensuring immediate action on unsafe practices and promoting National Child Safe Principles.
  • Design, implement and report on funded programs of work, tracking KPIs and responding to trends to improve educational outcomes.
  • Uphold strong governance, WHS and risk management practices, ensuring compliance with policies and fostering psychologically safe team environments.

About You 

  • Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education
  • Full Teacher Registration/Accreditation or eligibility to attain
  • Current Australian Driver's License 
  • 5+ years’ experience working in the early childhood education and care sector
  • Ability to lead and coordinate the development and delivery of adult education experiences that are founded in adult learning principles
  • Ability to lead programme development and implementation to deliver quality improvement
  • Flexibility to undertake frequent domestic travel as required from an operational perspective (as per the business requirements).
  • Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
