About Us

Welcome to Great Beginnings Gosnells – where every child's journey begins with excitement! Conveniently located for families in Gosnells, Huntingdale, Maddington, and Thornlie, our daycare and early learning centre is the perfect choice for your little one. We offer exceptional long day care and a dynamic kindergarten program for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, with extended hours designed to fit seamlessly into the busiest of family schedules. At capacity our centre caters for up to 99 children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6:00pm.

Your role

• Lead in the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities, including art, music, movement, and outdoor play
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity
• Observe and assess the development and progress of each child, and communicate with parents and colleagues about individual needs and achievements
• Maintain a clean and organised room, including managing materials and supplies
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and procedures

Our Requirements

• Hold a minimum ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven experience working in an early childhood service with children aged 0-5 years
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certification
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to continuous professional development
