The Opportunity
The Senior Product Owner is responsible for the day-to-day operational support, alongside strategic developments and implementation of the Products within the product portfolio and supporting ongoing initiatives to deliver improvements to the product services within the portfolio.
This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that systems are service standards are maintained and initiative impacting the portfolio are delivered. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supporting technology systems and embrace the development of domain specific experience.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and action support requests from the business from an operational perspective. For example, including but not limited to, user access, business rule configuration, data access requests, audit information requests etc.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Support the Product manager and business by preparing reports as required.
Support the product manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of initiative from initiation to closure.
Assist in defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Lead projects related to the implementation and upgrade of the HCMS systems and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met on time.
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Communicate progress, and outcomes to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
Identify and highlight risks and issues, support the development and implementation of mitigation strategies, and escalate as needed
Ensure that deliverables meet or exceed defined quality standards and requirements. Implement quality control processes and conduct regular reviews to verify compliance.
Collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, and partners to coordinate their contributions to project, operational and support activities.
The escalation and reporting of any real or perceived risks that may significantly affect the performance or reputation of G8, or that may provide exposure to legal or regulatory action, in line with the risk escalation procedures defined in the Risk Management Framework.
About You
Bachelor's degree preferable.
2-3 years' experience in UKG Dimensions
Proven experience as a business / system support role.
Awareness of product management methodologies is desirable.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with project management tools and software.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
