The Opportunity
The Education Manager – Innovation and Partnerships is responsible for initiating and leading innovational educational opportunities across the G8 Education group by demonstrating success across strategy execution, framework building, coaching, mentoring and developing partnerships with educational facilities and universities to showcase revolution and inclusiveness. In pursuing the position objective, the role will work collaboratively with the Education Team and other departments to ensure alignment across the Education strategy as well as the broader Group strategy. The role will also work collaboratively across the Early Childhood Education and Care sector and with key external partners.
Your day-to-day
No two days are the same; this role is diverse, with depth and breadth to cement your career, now and into the future. Areas of core responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Lead the successful implementation of educational initiatives and strategy as identified through agreed Group change/transformation programs.
Be a champion across pedagogy and practice, whilst applying a high level of ECEC knowledge and contemporary resource initiatives.
Collaboration and ongoing partnership with universities, educational groups and other professional ECEC organisations to showcase the group as a leader within ECEC Sector and communities.
Review and showcase new ideas to ensure innovation is paramount to the heart of the national education offering of G8 purpose.
To be a collaborative and influential leader within the organisation demonstrating and driving G8’s vision, purpose and values.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experiences:
High-level knowledge of contemporary evidence-based approaches to quality education and care for birth-5 years.
Expectational knowledge of the National Quality Standard, Early Years Learning Framework, and relevant state-based frameworks.
8+ years of leadership experience
Proven ability to develop high-performing, engaged teams
Experience in strategically leading change and transformation and executing state or national projects
Formal post-graduate qualifications in Early Childhood Education or other related discipline
Experience in partnering with third parties including universities and commercial enterprises.
Demonstrated experience working with multi-site organisations
Strong stakeholder management and proven business partnering ability
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and critically
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and organisational skills
Demonstrates initiative, capacity to work without supervision and confidence in decision-making
Hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid working with children check
