The Opportunity
The Capability Systems & Analytics Advisor plays a pivotal role in driving the optimisation, adoption, and strategic use of People & Culture capability platforms at G8 Education. With a focus on systems leadership and data-driven decision-making, this role oversees the implementation, enhancement, and performance of platforms such as Cornerstone Learning, Performance, and Succession, as well as other capability-enabling systems.
This role partners with platform owners, Digital Solutions teams, and key stakeholders to ensure our technology stack effectively supports capability uplift, workforce development, and a high-performing, digitally confident culture. The Lead also plays a key role in leveraging data and insights to inform strategic workforce decisions, track progress, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end system lifecycle for key capability platforms including Cornerstone modules (Learning, Performance, Succession), ensuring configuration meets business needs and drives user engagement.
Partner with the Product Manager – Human Capital Management Systems and BAU owners to manage platform roadmaps, upgrades, new functionality releases, and user experience enhancements.
Ensure robust system governance, including access controls, data security, and compliance standards.
Maintain and optimise additional systems supporting capability outcomes (e.g., Dimensions, Xplor Office & Playground, Wonder.LAB, Line Leader, 1Place, Qualtrics).
Curate and lead the development of learning resources (e.g., videos, user guides, digital learning modules) to support the effective use of capability platforms.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build digital confidence and literacy across the organisation through targeted enablement initiatives.
Provide timely and actionable insights to People & Culture and business leaders, supporting data-informed workforce planning and development decisions
Lead the planning and execution of capability-related technology and analytics projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business and workforce priorities.
About You
5+ years in managing and optimising enterprise capability or talent systems (e.g., Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar platforms).
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Learning & Development, or a related field are essential.
Experience developing and curating digital learning and enablement resources, including user guides, training videos, and eLearning modules.
Qualifications or certifications in HRIS platforms (e.g., Cornerstone, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday) or learning technologies are highly regarded.
Additional qualifications in data analytics, project management (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMP), or change management (e.g., PROSCI) are desirable
Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
