We are looking for an experienced Cook to join the team at Great Beginnings Mill Park to produce high quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 112 children each day.
Full-Time role working 38 hours per week.
Monday-Friday position, with no weekend work.
Early morning start and early afternoon finish, no work past 5.00pm!
Above award rates with weekly pay role.
Position Description
Plan and provide nutritionally balanced meals for children including morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and late snacks
Provide meals for children with special dietary needs
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen
Manage the ordering of stock within centre budgets

Experienced in Menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering & control
Experienced in dietary and allergy safe requirements.
Experienced in ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with the relevant Food Safety regulations
Be a Team Player with great communication and interpersonal skills
Be available for set shift days and times Monday to Friday
Successful Applicants must hold
A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification and experience in a cook role
A current Working with Children’s Check and First Aid
Completed or willing to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
