The Opportunity 

As the Product Manager for Human Capital Mangement Systems (HCMS) at G8 Education, you will lead the strategy, development, and execution of this category, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own the product strategy for HCMS, including defining the vision, goals, and roadmap.
• Conduct extensive market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape within HCMS.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements, ensuring they align with the category strategy.
• Create and maintain a clear and prioritized product roadmap that outlines feature development and enhancements for HCMS.
• Work closely with engineering, design, and other teams to drive product development, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
• Lead the product development process, from ideation to release, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of features and improvements.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and promotion.
• Continuously gather and analyse customer feedback and data to make informed decisions for product improvements and optimisations.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of HCMS.
• Manage the budget and resources allocated to HCMS, optimising spending to achieve strategic goals.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and adjust product strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
• Act as a customer advocate within the organisation, ensuring that customer needs are at the forefront of decision-making.

About You 

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science)
• Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in HCMS or a related field.
• Experience with UKG or SAP is desirable 
• Strong understanding of product management methodologies, market analysis, and product development processes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
