We are looking for an experienced Cook to join the team at Holt Children's Centre to produce high quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 60 children each day.
This role is Full-Time working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:15 am to 4:21 pm

Our Cook will provide Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, afternoon tea, late snacks as well as various baking and prepping for events
Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.
Our early learning and long day care centre offers child care in Holt in a modern setting that is perfect for families living or commuting through Holt or nearby suburbs MacGregor, Latham, Higgins and Dunlop. Centrally located near Kippax fair with food, shops, café and library nearby and accessible via public transport.
At capacity our centre caters for up to 60 children with operating hours from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
Experienced in Menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering & control
Experienced in dietary and allergy safe requirements.
Experienced in ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with the relevant Food Safety regulations
Be a Team Player with great communication and interpersonal skills
Be available for set shift days and times Monday to Friday
Successful Applicants must hold
A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification and experience in a cook role
A current Working with Children’s Check / Blue Card / DCSI Clearance and First Aid
Completed or willing to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
