We are looking for an experienced Cook/ Educator to join the team at Community Kids Canley Heights to produce high quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 39 children each day.
This role is Part-Time working 25 hours per week. We are also seeking someone who also holds a certificate 3 in early childhood as this is a dual role of cook/educator, where you will also be required to assist in the rooms with the children and daily activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 39 children with operating hours from 7am - 6pm.

Experienced in Menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering & control
Experienced in dietary and allergy safe requirements is a must!
Experienced in ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with the relevant Food Safety regulations
Be a Team Player with great communication and interpersonal skills
Be available for set shift days and times Monday to Friday,
Available to work both as a cook and in the rooms covering break times as an Assistant Educator, assisting in planning programs and activities.
Successful Applicants must hold
A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification and experience in a cook role
Certificate III in early childhood.
A current Working with Children’s Check and First Aid
Completed or willing to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
