The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an allied health professional to step into a Health and Rehabilitation Advisor role, where you’ll play a key role in supporting team members through their recovery and guiding them back to safe, meaningful work.
In this role, you’ll partner with centre managers and operational leaders to support injured team members, drawing on your existing experience in injury management while continuing to build your capability in injury prevention, claims processes, and stakeholder engagement.
This role is ideal for an Allied Health Professional in the early stages of their injury management career who’s looking to join a supportive and purpose-driven organisation, with opportunities to grow and develop.
Key Responsibilities
Support centre managers in managing team member injuries and return-to-work plans
Liaise with team members, medical providers and insurers to facilitate safe and sustainable recovery
Assist with organising and attending GP case conferences and worksite assessments
Help monitor and track claims through the management system, ensuring accurate and timely data
Build awareness around injury prevention strategies such as safe manual handling
Contribute to reporting and insights to help reduce the severity and frequency of workplace injuries
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to help build a strong safety and wellbeing culture
Support with payroll processing for workers’ compensation claims within your area
Assist with managing workers' compensation and return-to-work processes across multiple sites
Learn from experienced professionals and gain exposure to a broad range of injury management cases
About You
1–2 years’ experience in injury management, workers’ compensation, or allied health
Tertiary qualifications in an allied health field such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology or related field
Knowledge of the NSW workers’ compensation scheme
Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to build rapport and offer empathetic support
Highly organised, proactive and eager to grow within a supportive team
A team player who’s ready to learn and take ownership
Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
