The Opportunity 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Owner to join our team!

In this role, you’ll provide day-to-day support for our product portfolio, with a focus on 1Place Childcare. You’ll help keep things running smoothly by actioning support requests, troubleshooting issues, and assisting the Product Manager with ongoing improvements.

This is a great entry-level role for someone looking to grow their career in product and systems support. You’ll learn on the job, work with a variety of stakeholders, and build valuable experience in technology systems and product operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and action support requests from the business (e.g., user access, data requests, audit queries).
• Help troubleshoot and resolve basic system or configuration issues.
• Assist the Product Manager with reports, planning, and coordination of initiatives.
• Support small projects and improvements from start to finish under guidance.
• Keep stakeholders updated on progress in a clear and timely way.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
• Identify and flag risks or issues early and escalate when needed.
• Support quality checks and help ensure tasks meet required standards.

About You 

• Bachelor’s degree (or currently studying/near completion) is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with 1Place Childcare is highly regarded, but training will be provided.
• Some experience in a business or system support role (work placement, internship, or entry-level role) is beneficial.
• Strong interest in technology systems and willingness to learn.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others and follow through on tasks.
• Familiarity with project or product management tools is a plus but not required.
• Prior experience in safety/compliance or HCMS is a bonus.
• Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
