At Great Beginnings Gregory Hills, we’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Educator to join our exceptional team. In this 25 hour per week position on a 12-month contract, you’ll work alongside qualified professionals who are committed to excellence in early education, and to supporting your personal and professional growth.

Our centre caters for up to 100 children and operates from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

• Assist in delivering high-quality programs based on the EYLF
• Create safe, nurturing, and stimulating environments for children aged 0–5
• Build respectful and collaborative relationships with families and team members
• Contribute to planning and documentation in line with the National Quality Standards

About you

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services 
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years) 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
