The Opportunity
The Platform & Infrastructure Engineer is a technically focused role responsible for supporting and delivering infrastructure, cloud, and platform services across the organisation. The role works across a variety of technologies including network infrastructure, cloud environments (Azure/AWS/M365), and integration platforms.
With a strong emphasis on hands-on technical execution, this role supports day-to-day operations, contributes to the delivery of infrastructure changes, and helps identify and implement automation opportunities to improve performance and efficiency. This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen their experience in modern infrastructure delivery and support within a strong and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support across infrastructure and cloud platforms, responding to incidents, service requests, and operational issues within defined SLAs.
Carry out infrastructure changes and deployments across cloud and on-premise environments, following established change management processes.
Identify repetitive or manual tasks and contribute to automation initiatives using tools, scripts, or platform-native automation capabilities.
Assist in maintaining system health by responding to incidents, investigating issues, and escalating where appropriate.
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles to support efficient BAU operations.
Support the technical delivery of infrastructure-related project tasks, working under direction from senior engineers or project leads.
Troubleshoot technical issues independently or in collaboration with vendors, and suggest improvements to reduce recurring issues
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
