About Us
At Great Beginnings Canning Vale, we're a delightful choice for local families in Canning Vale, Thornlie, Southern River, Huntingdale, Harrisdale, and Gosnells. We offer a warm, welcoming daycare and early learning centre with long day care and a kindergarten program for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Our extended hours make it easy for busy families to balance work and life. With a capacity for up to 105 children, our centre operates from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm.
Our carefully crafted menus are not only nutritionally balanced but also bursting with quality, helping little ones thrive both physically and mentally. As part of our team, you'll feel valued, appreciated, and supported in a fun, vibrant work environment.

About You
Experienced in menu planning, budgeting, and managing stock with precision
Skilled in accommodating dietary needs and allergy-safe requirements
Proficient in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen in accordance with food safety regulations
A true team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Available for set shifts, Monday to Friday (7am -3pm)
Successful Applicants must hold
A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification and experience in a cook role
A current Working with Children’s Check
Completed or willing to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
