At Great Beginnings Ellenbrook, we’re proud to support local families from Ellenbrook, Aveley, and Brabham with high-quality care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
Our purpose-built centre offers a warm, welcoming environment where innovation and nurturing go hand in hand. With long day care and a government-approved kindergarten program, we’re here to support busy families — open from 6:30am to 6:00pm.
We cater for up to 60 children and are passionate about creating a safe, inspiring space where both children and educators thrive.

Your role
Assist in the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities, including art, music, movement, and outdoor play
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity
Observe and assess the development and progress of each child, and communicate with parents and colleagues about individual needs and achievements
Maintain a clean and organised room, including managing materials and supplies
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and procedures

About You – What You Bring to the Team
You're more than qualified—you’re passionate, motivated, and ready to make a real difference in the lives of little learners. Here’s what we’re looking for:
Childcare Qualification You hold an ACECQA-approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) and are confident in your skills.
Framework-Savvy You’ve got a solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)—and know how to bring them to life in a fun, engaging way.
Experience with Young Children You've worked in early learning environments with children aged 0–5 and know how to create safe, supportive, and playful spaces.
Great Communicator Whether it’s chatting with families, connecting with your team, or documenting learning—your verbal and written communication skills shine.
Safety Ready You have a current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate (including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training).
