I still remember walking into the centre for the first time, full of excitement and maybe a little bit of nerves - this was February 2005, and I was just starting as a trainee. Now, 20 years later, I’m reflecting with immense gratitude on the path that’s led me here.
Growing from Trainee to Leader
It’s been a journey of constant learning and growth. Over the years, I’ve progressed through roles as an Educational Leader, Assistant Centre Manager, Centre Manager, and Area Manager. Today, I’m proud to contribute as the Operations Innovation Lead in our Support Office.

Whether I’ve been in centre leadership or Support Office, I’ve had the privilege of working with amazing teams, some of whom have become more like family. Our shared mission - to create better outcomes for children - has been the common thread that binds us together.
Learning Alongside Industry Leaders

I’ve had opportunities to attend the annual National Conference, where I’ve met inspiring peers from all over Australia. I've also participated in external events like the Early Childhood Australia National Conference, where I heard industry insights and learned from some of the brightest minds in our field.
Nurturing Greatness - In Children & Colleagues
The core purpose of G8 - to nurture the greatness in every child - is mirrored in how they nurture us, their people. Over these 20 years, I haven’t just grown professionally - I’ve been part of an organisation that values continuous improvement, collaboration, and well-being for both children and staff.

As I celebrate this milestone, I’m filled with excitement for what the future holds - both for G8 Education and my own journey.
